She also supports a select law firm clientele with lateral partner acquisitions, practice group mergers, and strategic growth initiatives.
For more than 35 years, Lori has partnered with corporations and law firms to identify exceptional legal talent, including General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officers, Deputy General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, Senior Counsel, and law firm partners and practice groups.
As a trusted advisor to clients, Lori's work routinely extends beyond recruiting for specific roles, as she frequently offers professional insight on legal department structure, growth and talent acquisition strategies, succession planning, compensation shifts, and evolving market changes affecting the legal profession. She regularly consults with GCs, CEOs, CHROs, Boards of Directors, and law firm Managing Partners and is privileged to have contributed to the success of many organizations and legal professionals throughout her career.

Sandra J. Simon - Administrator
Sandra Simon graduated with a B.A. in English, cum laude, with departmental honors, from Allegheny College in May of 2000. After working as an administrative assistant / junior recruiter for a local non-legal search firm, Sandra joined Carpenter Legal Search, Inc. as Administrator in November of 2001. Sandra works directly with Lori Carpenter to facilitate the company’s recruiting and marketing activities and is generally responsible for “making things work.”
In addition to her role at CLS, Sandra is Co-Dharma Heir of Sacred Feet Yoga, Editor-in-Chief for The Sacred Feet Publishing Imprint, and President and Member of the Board of Trustees for The Jones Educational Foundation 501(c)(3) non-profit. She also is Managing Editor, Dharma and Spiritual Practice for Light on Light Press and Associate Editor for The Edge, a monthly newsletter for the Evolutionary Leaders through The Source of Synergy Foundation.
