Job Description:

We have been exclusively engaged by our client, a Fortune 100 global company, to identify a corporate attorney in the client’s preferred range of around 3-6 years of experience for a Counsel position at its Mid-West headquarters. This is a very client intensive and visible role that will provide the opportunity to offer front line legal counsel to internal clients on a daily basis.

Candidates must have substantive commercial transactions experience and should be confident advising clients on both legal and business-related matters. Strong academic credentials and substantive training and experience from a notable corporate practice (law firm or corporation setting) are required; however, personality will be a key factor in securing this position. This desirable role requires a self-starter who is collaborative, flexible, responsive and highly motivated. Candidates must have strong business acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and stellar written and oral communication skills; be service-oriented; and have a desire to be constantly learning. This individual also will need to excel at handling multiple projects simultaneously and to exhibit good judgment and a high level of integrity and maturity.
