As another year rolls around, so does the anniversary of Carpenter Legal Search. As I contemplate the differences between 1994 when I set up my own legal recruiting boutique and 2022, the evolution of many things has been nothing short of staggering. We have faced a pandemic which has brought great self-inquiry and has changed how we live and work, how we view and structure our lives, and how and where we place value. Our industry has been catapulted forward with technological advances that have brought us into a complete virtual world. We have been made to change and grow to continue to thrive. Yet, some things stay the same. Always poised to take the next curve, we remain passionate about what we do and find ourselves energized by the change. Our glass is consistently "half full" as we look at the year ahead and learn about our clients' goals for their teams. Ironically, while they say technology may take away the personal element in business, the changes of the past years have only deepened and developed our working process and relationships. On this anniversary, we stand renewed and refreshed, ready to tackle new challenges as they present themselves and looking forward to being of service in our partnerships.
