Job Description:

A prominent public global manufacturing corporation in Pittsburgh has retained us to identify a talented commercial and general business attorney with around 4-7 years of legal experience and strong academic credentials. Large law firm experience is preferred, and in-house experience would be a plus.

The client is seeking those who have experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements and the ability to provide legal advice on business relationships with customers and vendors, especially those arising from operations across multiple jurisdictions. An interest in or exposure to environmental, government contracts, and real estate law would be ideal. In addition to the requisite experience, it will also be those intangible qualities that will ultimately make someone the best fit for this position.

This role reports to a Deputy GC and will be counsel to a business unit. It needs someone who is highly motivated and flexible and who possesses:

•    strong analytical skills with ability to act independently with discretion,
•    ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize according to company goals and strategy,
•    strong initiative to be a creative problem solver and offer solutions to complex issues, and
•    excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
