Who we are...

Lori J. Carpenter founded Carpenter Legal Search, Inc. (CLS) in 1994, after establishing her niche in legal search and recruitment as a top biller for a local recruiting firm.  With over 30 years in the legal search industry, Lori has leveraged her extensive knowledge and experience to conduct permanent attorney searches at all levels for corporations and law firms nationally.  Since the inception of CLS, Lori and her highly trained search consultants have partnered with clients to build legal departments and practice groups across all industries in all legal specialties.  Utilizing a detailed and comprehensive search process and a vast network of client and candidate relationships, CLS identifies first-rate legal talent for our clients, accessing not only those candidates who are seeking a new opportunity, but also uncovering those top quality passive candidates who are not currently seeking a new position.  As such, we are able to present our clients with high caliber candidates not readily found by other legal search firms.
