Prior to joining Carpenter Legal Search, Inc. as a Legal Search Consultant in January of 2004, Leigh Ann Amodie Gorman was an Associate at a large Pittsburgh-based law firm, where she practiced corporate and health care law.  Leigh Ann received her B.A., cum laude, in political science and philosophy in 1998 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, having spent a semester at the Miami University John E. Dolibios European Center in Luxembourg.  She received her J.D. and Health Law Certificate in 2001 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
 
A Pittsburgh native, Leigh Ann has remained active in the community and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project, where she served as the organization’s Chair of Discover Pittsburgh and Connect Pittsburgh, programs designed to connect individuals with charitable, professional, educational, political, social, and recreational opportunities in the region.
